This project was quite the “test run” with a first-time client. After hosting the client to our HQ in Raleigh and months of discussions and revisions, our team was contracted to handle a terminal expansion project to include building a new retention pond at the back of the property, stormwater pipe repair and replacement, new concrete dolly pads, concrete reinforcement for trailer stabilizer jacks, curbing around the entire property, a new entrance gate, stone base and asphalt paving. We acted as the GC and performing contractor on all services for this nearly 7-month project. As to why we were entrusted on this scale of a project with a new client, we were told it was due to our self-performing capabilities over a large geographical area, clean equipment and strong professionalism and communication in pre-project interactions. This is the service we sell at Turner Asphalt. We were thrilled to hear these fundamental business focuses as reasons to why we were awarded a project.
