Sometimes it’s best to start fresh rather than pour money into maintenance on a failing parking lot. In Chapel Hill, our team was selected to repave the entire parking lot of the apartments. Before getting onsite, and due to indicators in the condition of the asphalt, we had the soils tested which revealed a subgrade not suitable for repaving. Upon obtaining this information, we advised the client of the need to fix the subgrade. Over the span of a month, our team phased the parking area into 6 sections, completing soil stabilization followed by paving all while allowing residents easy access to their homes
