City of Raleigh

A water main failure on Glenwood Avenue, one of Raleigh’s busiest corridors, created an urgent situation just days before Thanksgiving 2020, threatening to strand holiday traffic and disrupt access to Crabtree Valley Mall. Turner Asphalt mobilized equipment within hours of the call, launching a round-the-clock emergency response that involved concrete excavation, soil stabilization, and full repaving. The road was back open before the holiday weekend, turning what could have been a multi-week closure into a seamless recovery.

Research Institute

When pandemic-related office closures cleared this government research campus of its usual traffic, Turner Asphalt seized the window to complete critical road repairs with minimal operational impact. The reduced activity allowed the team to work efficiently across the campus’s main roadways, restoring pavement conditions that would have been difficult to address under normal circumstances.

Private School

After years of sealcoating, this school’s parking lot still had enough structural integrity to support an asphalt overlay rather than a full replacement, saving time and cost. To protect the new surface from reflective cracking, Turner Asphalt applied a chipseal layer before the overlay.
